Free breathing timer
Pick a pattern, choose the number of rounds and a pace, then press Start. The orb grows as you breathe in and shrinks as you breathe out, with a count on screen. Nothing you do here is saved or sent anywhere, and you can stop at any time.
General information, not medical advice. Stop if you feel dizzy or unwell, and ask a professional about any health concern.
Breathe in for 4, hold for 7, breathe out for 8.
Ready when you are
Sit or lie down. If you feel dizzy, lightheaded or uncomfortable, stop and breathe normally. Not suitable as a substitute for medical advice. Nothing you do here is recorded or sent anywhere.
How to use it
- Choose a pattern. 4-7-8 is the best known; box breathing and the longer exhale (in 4, out 6) are gentler places to begin.
- Pick the number of rounds. Four is a common starting point.
- Choose a pace. The shorter settings keep the same proportions with smaller counts.
- Sit or lie down, then press Start and follow the orb and the words.
Safety
Breathe softly. Press Stop and breathe normally if you feel dizzy, lightheaded, tingly or out of breath. Speak to a doctor before using the holds if you are pregnant, faint easily, or have a heart or lung condition.
